Clearer Financial Reporting in Quest

Easily track bookings, payments, and event spending—all in one place.

Written by Anna Grumbach

Reporting in Quest just got simpler and easier to understand! We’ve been listening closely to your feedback, and we appreciate everyone’s patience as we strive to build a platform that delivers total clarity—allowing you to monitor your performance with complete confidence.

Based directly on your input, we’ve reorganized our accounting reports to eliminate clutter, resolve past confusion, and surface the exact data you need faster.

What’s New:

  • No More Spend Confusion: We removed the confusion around separating company spend versus out-of-pocket traveler spend (upgrades/seat fees). Your main overview now focuses strictly on organization-level costs, while individual traveler-paid upgrades remain fully itemized on the Travel Transactions tab for audit visibility.

  • Simplified Core Metrics: Your financial overview is now boiled down to two clear metrics: Travel Spend vs. Platform Fees, paired with a clean breakdown of how funds were drawn (Wallet vs. Credit Card).

  • Per-Event Wallet Breakdowns: You can now see the exact amount each individual event has drawn from your wallet balance.

  • Wallet Overview: A new high-level wallet card gives you total transparency into wallet funding versus active spending, so you always know your exact balance before running low on funds.

Reporting Tip: Multi-Event Filtering & Arrivals/Departures
We want to remind everyone to make full use of the Multi-Event Filter! This feature lets you select or deselect specific events—plus corporate spend—to instantly update your entire overview report.

  • Why it matters: If your Arrivals & Departures report looks off, double-check your event filter! Selecting too many events bundles them all together, while forgetting to select an active event hides its flight data.

  • Pro-Tip: This is perfect for teams running multiple sub-events or applying different event policies under one umbrella—simply filter down to the exact events you want to review.

This new layout removes the guesswork and makes client closeouts, internal reviews, and account reconciliations seamless.
