Ever received a flight confirmation email and wondered how to access your flight details later?

Most airlines allow you to easily look up your trip information using your confirmation number and last name. Here's a quick guide:

What you'll need:

  • Your confirmation email (which should include your confirmation number)

  • Last name used for booking

Steps:

  1. Locate your Confirmation Number: In your confirmation email, find the section with your flight details. Look for a term like "confirmation number," "booking reference," "reservation code," or "record locator." It will typically be a combination of letters and numbers.

  2. Visit the Airline's Website: Most airlines have a dedicated section for managing bookings and viewing flight information. Open a web browser and search for the airline you're flying with.

  3. Find the "Manage My Booking" or "Trip Lookup" Section: Airlines use different terms for this section. Look for options like "Manage My Booking," "Your Trips," "Trip Lookup," or "Check My Reservation."

  4. Enter Confirmation Number and Last Name: On the designated page, you'll find fields to enter your confirmation number and last name (sometimes it might be first name as well). Fill in these details exactly as they appear in your confirmation email.

  5. Access Your Flight Information: Once you enter the information, click the "Search" or "Lookup" button. The website will retrieve your flight details, including departure and arrival times, gate numbers, and any additional information about your trip.

Additional Tips:

  • Search Window: While most airlines allow searching with confirmation number and last name, some may restrict it to a specific window (usually within 24 hours of departure).

  • Airline Variations: The layout and terminology might differ slightly between airlines. If you have trouble finding the relevant section, try searching the airline's website for "Manage Booking" or "Trip Lookup."

By following these steps, you can easily access your flight information using your confirmation number and last name. This allows you to review your flight details, check for any gate changes, and ensure you have all the necessary information for your trip.
